West Calculator is a script for the Innogames' browser game The West, that helps you choose the best equipment for a particular job or fort battle.

Picking tobacco : This is the list of all The West's jobs. Here you can select a job for further calculations.

Calculate selected job : By clicking this link, the script calculates the best equipment for the selected job from the above list and the labour points and your best equipment for that job are displayed. Items from any opened shops are involved in the calculations. It also enables the menu for loading the calculated best set composed of inventory items or the best set composed of both inventory and shop items, onto the ingame "dressing room".

All jobs : Clicking that, calculations for all jobs take place. The jobs list will be updated. The jobs that you can do will be painted green and those that can't be done will be painted red. A number in parenthesis will also be added to the name of the job, showing the labour points you have for the job. Although the best set is calculated for every job, it is not diplayed anywhere, unless you click Calculate selected job to load it. It might take a minute if you have too many itemsets or a slow computer.

Selecting "I" the All jobs command will perform calculations that involve your inventory items. Selecting "W", calculations are made only with your currently equiped clothes. Last selecting "D", the script calculations are made with the clothes you have in the dressing room.

Fort defence : This calculates the best equipment when defending a fort in a battle. Additionaly, your shooting and dodging bonuses are displayed.

Fort attack : This calculates the best equipment when attacking a fort in a battle. Additionaly, your shooting and dodging bonus are dislayed.

My Best Set: Clicking that, the best set composed from items of your inventory will be loaded on the script's dressing room area. The labour points that you have with these clothes, for the selected job, will be displayed both on The West game tab and onto the control panel.

Best Shop Set: Clicking that, the best set composed from items of your inventory and the opend shops will be loaded on the dressing room area. The labour points that you have with these clothes, for the selected job, will be displayed both on game tab and on the control panel. That set might contain items for a higher level than yours.

Best Valid Shop Set: Clicking that, the best set composed from items of your inventory and the opend shops will be loaded on the dressing room area. The labour points that you have with these clothes, for the selected job, will be displayed both on game tab and on the control panel. That set contains only items that can be equiped.

The ingame "dressing room":

When you click on Calculate selected job the dressing room appears on the West tab. Its use is mainly for trying different items from your inventory or any opened shops and see the effect they have on the job. Of course, there you can see the images of the suggested items.It is also used for loading a set of clothes and testing what jobs you can do with it when clicking:

It is a good idea to leave your inventory open when you perform job calculations. Else the displayed items will lose their stats popup. The calculations are not affected by the popups existance.

Notepad:

With Notepad you can save your notes about the game.BBcodes are supported. It uses a cookie to store the data. That means that same information is available only on the same computer, on the same browser. Information is stored by player and by world, so if you use a shared computer or you play on many worlds there would be no problem. The script knows whoose notes to load.
